Chairman JKLF (H) Javaid Ahmad Mir while addressing a gathering at Hamza Masjid, here today castigated PDP-BJP government for using Village Defense Committees (VDCs) against the Muslims in Chenab Valley.
He said: “The irony is the murderers and criminals form VDSs and they are being awarded by the ruling regime.”Javaid said, “People of Kashmir from the last seven decades are looking for some tangible steps for the resolution of Kashmir issue. Today when Prime Minister of India is talking about the resolution of Kashmir issue, it is high time to make history by resolving the lingering dispute.”
He said Indian ruling dispensation needs to “shun the traditional policy of stubbornness to find a resolution to Kashmir issue.
He said, “Besides taking tangible steps, India needs to take concrete and honest steps to address the Kashmir issue by involving all other main stakeholders including the people of Kashmir and Pakistan.”
Javaid Mir expressed his concern over the disappearance of three youth of Kupwara.
He appealed international organization to take strong notice of the day-to-day disappearances in Kashmir.
